Payson Vacation in Style
Location: Payson, AZ
2 Bedroom / 4 guests / No pets allowed.
What a charming vacation rental in Payson! Centrally located in town, its proximity is perfect for getting around to all that Payson has to offer and yet is quiet and peaceful in an older neighborhood.
Initial Impressions: Warm, Cozy, and Comfortable
I seem to have picked quite the moment to visit this Payson vacation rental —five straight days of rain, tying a record. But even with the nonstop drizzle, my stay at this vacation rental turned out to be wonderfully relaxing. My host, George, was fantastic with communication from the start, making sure everything was easy and seamless.
Entry was simple thanks to the keyless lock, and the cozy living room—with its comfortable furniture and reliable Wi-Fi—made it easy to settle right in.
Comfort & Amenities: Everything You Need to Feel at Home
The home is an older mobile home unit, but you’d hardly know it. The owners have clearly invested care and creativity into updating the space with fresh décor and thoughtful amenities. Everything was spotless: dishes, bedding, towels, and every corner of the house. With two bedrooms and one bathroom, the space can comfortably accommodate up to four guests. Extra pillows, blankets, and towels were a nice touch, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable—I slept wonderfully. There’s even a washer and dryer, which always earns bonus points from me.
Climate control is excellent, with central air conditioning and heating, plus a ceiling fan in the living room and a gas fireplace for those chillier evenings. The whole home has an inviting, lived-in warmth that instantly makes you feel at ease. While the neighborhood is older, it’s tidy, peaceful, and quiet—exactly what you hope for during a relaxing getaway.
The kitchen is impressively well stocked, complete with dishes, pots and pans, plenty of utensils, and all the essentials you’d need for cooking. I especially appreciated the Keurig coffee maker paired with a selection of coffee, cocoa pods, and creamers. The pantry even has handy extras like spices, oil, and pancake mix.
Parking is easy too, thanks to the wide circular driveway right out front.
Backyard Invitation to Relaxation
If the weather would have cooperated, I would have loved to spend more time outdoors, because the backyard includes a charming sitting area and a fire pit.
The fenced backyard is particularly inviting with a relaxing atmosphere that includes:
Patio furniture
BBQ grill
Fire pit
- Table with umbrella
t’s a lovely spot to unwind on cool evenings.
Location: Close to Everything Payson Has to Offer
Location-wise, this rental couldn’t be more convenient. It’s close to restaurants, shops, the movie theater, the golf course, and just about everything else in town. Nestled within a short drive of countless scenic hiking trails, it’s a great base for exploring the natural beauty of the Payson area. George also provides a helpful binder packed with local tips and recommendations.
I Really Loved...
Despite the record-breaking rain, my stay here was delightful. I’d recommend this vacation rental in a heartbeat—for a quick weekend escape or a longer retreat. It’s the kind of place that feels easy, comfortable, and simply right from the moment you walk in.
My host, George was super kind and responsive, which touches my heart and scores big points with me!
