If you’re planning a trip to Payson, Arizona, there’s no better time to visit than October. When I stayed at this adorable 2-bed, 4-guest vacation rental in fall 2025, the weather was nothing short of perfect—warm, golden afternoons followed by crisp, cozy evenings that practically beg you to curl up in front of a fireplace. And that’s exactly what this rental was made for.
First Impressions: Warm, Restful, and Wonderfully Cozy
From the moment I arrived, this home felt inviting. Tucked inside an older, quiet neighborhood—not on a busy street, but still close to everything—the rental instantly had that “home away from home” charm. My host, Sujey, was proactive and friendly, reaching out before check-in to make sure I had everything I needed.
Parking was simple thanks to a gravel driveway right out front, and entry was a breeze with a user-friendly keypad on the door.
Inside, the space was clean, cute, and thoughtfully decorated with fall touches—throw blankets, warm lighting, and even a quaint little coffee nook in the dining room. It was the perfect setup for a cozy October stay.

The two bedrooms both feature comfortable queen beds and adequate closets. Just note: towels are stored in the bedroom closets—grab one before hopping into the shower!

The kitchen is compact but fully functional, stocked with dishes and cookware suitable for a small family or group of friends.

I Really Loved...
This little Payson gem is clearly well cared for and makes a wonderful choice for a weekend getaway or an extended stay. Clean, cozy, and filled with thoughtful touches, it checks all the boxes for anyone wanting a relaxing home base in Rim Country. So many sweet touches, such as for coffee lovers, and comfort was top notch.
Being here was like putting on a pair of well worn slippers, completely at home and comfortable.
